Pristina, January 29, 2018 - The one hundred and forty –sixth meeting of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC) was held, led by the Chairman of the Prosecutorial Council, Blerim Isufaj.
At the beginning of this meeting, respecting the legal procedures, the oath was given by a new member of the KPC from the Appellate Prosecution Office, Prosecutor Bedrije Alshiqi, who replaced in this position her colleague from the same prosecution, Idain Smajli.
KPC members at this meeting have done completion and amendment of the Commission on Performance Appraisal of Prosecutors. Member of KPC, Prosecutor Ikramije Bojaxhiu was elected as chairman of this commission, while the new member of the KPC, the Appellate Prosecution Prosecutor, Bedrije Alshiqi was elected as member. Other member of the commission continues to be the prosecutor from the Office of the Chief Prosecutor, Lulzim Sylejmani.
The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council during this meeting has taken the decision to announce the promotion vacancy announcement for 5 positions in the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo.
By decision of the KPC, "UBO Consulting" has been authorized to conduct a survey with administrative staff of prosecutions on the topic "Perceptions of civil servants regarding politics impacts on institutions of rule of law enforcement".
KPC during the one hundred and forty-sixth meeting, approved the refusal recommendation of the Commission established for reviewing the request of former prosecutor Suad Kuraja for taking three additional salaries after his retirement,
At the end of the meeting and in order to increase the performance of prosecutors, KPC has approved Administrative Instruction No.01/2018, for setting the Standard Norm for State Prosecutors.
